READY TO USE BANGALORE STYLE Masala Puri Powder | Pani Puri Masala Powder | Golgappa Masala Powder

Masala Puri Powder: 


  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds 

  • 1/3 cup coriander seeds 

  • 1/4 fried gram (roasted chana dal) 

  • 3-inch cinnamon sticks 

  • 3 mace strands 

  • 3 cloves (optional) 

  • 3 kapok buds (marathi moggu) 

  • 2 cardamom pods 

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg powder


Method: 


  1. Roast cumin seeds, coriander seeds and fried gram until aromatic. 

  2. Add cinnamon sticks, mace strands, kapok buds, cardamom pods, nutmeg powder and roast for a few seconds.  

  3. Let that cool down completely and transfer to the blender. 

  4. Now add nutmeg powder, then grind into a fine powder. 

  5. Store that in an airtight container.   


Pani Puri Masala Powder | Golgappa Masala Powder: 


  • 2 tablespoon cumin seeds  

  • 2 tablespoon coriander seeds  

  • 1 tablespoon black salt 

  • 1/2 tablespoon salt 

  • 1 tablespoon red chilli powder  

  • 1 tablespoon dry mango powder  

  • 1 teaspoon pepper powder 

  • 1 tablespoon garam masala

  •  A pinch of asafetida (hing) 


 Method: 


  1. Roast cumin seeds and coriander seeds until aromatic.  

  2. Grind to a fine powder, then add black salt, salt, red chilli powder, dry mango powder, pepper powder, garam masala, asafoetida, and mix well. 

  3. Store that in an airtight container.
